That One Prayer
At work once, before I retired from LifeWay in 2017, our team was in a very stressful season. We were all struggling to get our work done by deadlines and many of us also struggled with issues outside of work. Can you relate? I was blessed to have a group of women who serve across the country in churches and organizations who were my prayer warriors then, and still are today! Cast…Because He Cares
How many times has someone said something, or you read a quote, and it stopped you in your tracks? I love to read and I read a lot! Then as I often do, I played a worship song. this particular one has a…

Are You Blooming in Real Life?
One of my daughters has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor and a very quick wit. She always has an immediate thought and quick response to any situation…and yes, sometimes it gets her into trouble. But I’ve laughed with her over her comments a million times and I love it! Maybe that is why I loved reading Kayla Aimee’s new book, In Bloom. Her stories are told with the same type of quick wit and sarcastic humor as my daughter. But another reason I loved this book is how honest Kayla is about life (also like my daughter) and how, in the midst of real life, God wants us to…
