What’s On Your Bucket List?
Have you ever made a bucket list? If so, I’d so love to hear what you put on it! One thing I’ve always wanted to do is sky dive, but I’ve yet to! In 2017, I made a Retirement Bucket List. Here’s a few items on that list: -swim with manatees, dolphins, and turtles -visit beaches that have lots of amazing shells in abundance -visit places near by our city here in Tennessee that we’ve not seen -travel to the last 3 states across our nation that I have not visited: West Virginia, Delaware and Connecticut. The Cost of Leadership Part 8

Empty Nest? What’s That, and How Will I Handle it?
When I married at 19, then had twins at 25, I never even considered this question. But, it’s never too early to realize, for those who have children, that this day would, and should, eventually become a reality. Today, I am sharing with you a post I wrote for LifeWay Women. In the Aftermath
I have loved serving Jesus over the years in the area of women’s ministry. There have been both highs and lows throughout the journey. Often, when I have been on a mountaintop experience or event, not long after (or even during!), there has been a huge valley to walk through. Retired Together…3 Issues and 7 Tips
Some of you may know I retired in 2017 after 22+ years at LifeWay, serving as the women’s ministry specialist. It was such a surprise and an honor to get to do this ministry. I loved my work and am so grateful for all God taught me. But, my husband and I knew that this was the year to retire. I turned 65 the September prior and God made it clear this was the time.
