What’s On Your Bucket List?
Have you ever made a bucket list? If so, I’d so love to hear what you put on it! One thing I’ve always wanted to do is sky dive, but I’ve yet to! In 2017, I made a Retirement Bucket List. Here’s a few items on that list: -swim with manatees, dolphins, and turtles -visit beaches that have lots of amazing shells in abundance -visit places near by our city here in Tennessee that we’ve not seen -travel to the last 3 states across our nation that I have not visited: West Virginia, Delaware and Connecticut. Last summer we enjoyed Olympic sports, my favorite being gymnastics. As I watched the trials earlier, I began to think about both team and independent competition in the Olympics. Both were opportunities to excel and represent their countries. I Wonder If….
If I am training for a marathon, I will not only prepare my body physically for the race, but I will also learn from others who have run races before me. If I want to run well and make it across the finish line strong and on two feet, I will prepare long and hard ahead of time. Otherwise…well, you know.
